We will be migrating a large number of retirees to the system and would like to know what the differences are between a retiree QB and a COBRA QB. In other words, what are the differences on the XML file to send retiree QBs versus COBRA QBs?

When importing individuals into WebCobra in an XML file you will differentiate between a QB and a Retiree by specifying a different StatusCode in the QBGroup node of the XML. The status codes to use for QB's are:

1 Added not Notified
2 Notified, Waiting for Response
3 Enrolled Pending Payment
4 Enrolled
5 Terminated
8 Denial of Coverage, Not Notified
9 Terminated, Denial of Coverage
10 Enrolled with 100% Subsidy

For retirees the status codes to use are:
14 Retiree Pending
15 Retiree Enrolled
16 Retiree Terminated
